AI Proof-of-Delivery Automation Application

Context

  • National Food Products Company (NFPC) is one of the UAE's premier Food & Beverage (F&B) producer and exporter to over 40 countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. A proof-of-delivery (POD) document serves as an acknowledgement for each successful order delivery, and is also used for invoicing.

 

  • In the past, NFPC always had problems of missing 'Delivery Notes (DNs)' and 'Seals on DNs', which resulted in frequent delivery conflicts, slow invoicing and delayed payments, and various administrative challenges.

Solution

Mokxa developed and deployed an 'AI-Driven Proof-of-Delivery Automation App' on Joget and its AI-ready TensorFlow plugin, providing a platform that enables NFPC to: 
 

  • Establish a single ecosystem to effectively automate, simplify and organize their POD discrepancy management process.

  • Effectively communicate all POD related information with customers in a timely manner.

 

  • Reduce the stress to handle issues of missing documents by hand.

 

  • Resolve delivery conflicts and ensure a smooth customer invoicing cycle.

Outcome

  • Through the Joget application that supports high processing load, we provide an automated POD tracking mechanism for NFPC to process about 5,000 DNs per day.
     

  • Through technology integrations with legacy systems like ERP database, NFPC is able to build an automated control mechanism that seamlessly highlights missing POD documents on all future invoices and Statement of Accounts (SOA) documents.

  • Other highlights of the solution includes Single Sign-On via MS Office 365 active directory integration, permission-controlled and role-based access, and chat functionality (downloaded from Joget Marketplace) that allows NFPC to communicate with their customers and resolve challenges real-time.​
